MEMBERS of the livestock export industry will come together for LIVEXforum 2016 on October 26-27, with joint-hosts the Australian Livestock Exporters’ Council and LiveCorp, confirming this year’s event will be held in Canberra. LIVEXforum, which is held in alternate years between LIVEXchange conferences, will provide a unique chance for industry stakeholders to discuss key opportunities and challenge confronting the live trade.
Among a wide range of topical issues to be discussed, the continual improvement of supply chain capabilities, animal welfare outcomes and market opportunities feature prominently.
Relevant research, development and extension projects will also be showcased, ensuring the event will be of genuine interest to all those involved in the livestock export industry, including producers, service providers and industry groups.
The LIVEXforum will coincide with annual industry meetings which will be held earlier in the week, as well as a special producer forum which will target practical issues affecting beef, dairy, sheep and goat producers supplying the trade.
