MEMBERS of the livestock export community are invited to consider nominating an emerging industry leader for the 2016 Landmark Young Achiever of the Year Award, with thanks to Landmark International for once again sponsoring the award.
Persons 35 years of age and under, actively working in the industry and who have the commitment, drive and enthusiasm to make a strong contribution to the industry’s future are eligible for nomination. Many past Young Achiever Award winners have gone on to senior leadership positions within the industry at a commercial or organisational level.
This year the award prize has undergone a revamp, with the 2016 winner sponsored to participate in the eight-day, cross-sector Australian Rural Leadership Program’s 2017 TRAIL program in Canberra from April 18–25. The program is for emerging rural leaders to increase their leadership knowledge and skills, gain exposure to role models and develop long-term peer networks. It includes a focus on strategic thinking, advocacy, influence and political processes, communications and presentation. More information on the TRAIL program can be found here.
To nominate one of your colleagues, complete the form below and return it to email@example.com by 31 August 2016. A panel of industry peers and former Young Achiever awardees has been established and will consider the nominations and make a recommendation to the ALEC Board. The winner announced at the LIVEXforum Gala Industry Dinner in Canberra on 27 October.
